Kiddie Academy of Lutz is opening its doors in October 2026 — and we're looking for passionate Lead Teachers to help us build something special from the very beginning! We are hiring Lead Teachers for all age groups: Infant Toddler Twos Preschool VPK This isn't an established classroom where you are stepping into someone else's routines, materials, and systems. You will be part of the founding team of a brand-new academy. That means new classrooms, new toys, new equipment, new supplies, and a fresh start from the ground up. Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to help create your classroom environment, establish your classroom routines, and bring your ideas and teaching style to life. Help Build Something From the Ground Up As one of our founding teachers, your voice will matter. Before our students arrive, you'll have time to: Set up and organize your brand-new classroom Help create a warm, inviting learning environment Organize your classroom materials and learning centers Prepare age-appropriate activities and experiences Establish classroom routines and procedures Collaborate with your teaching team and academy leadership Get to know the curriculum, policies, and expectations Prepare for a successful first day with your students And don't worry — you won't be expected to figure it all out on your own. Training Before We Open Training and onboarding will be provided before classes begin. You'll have the opportunity to learn our curriculum, classroom expectations, policies, procedures, and daily operations before you are responsible for your classroom. Our goal is for you to feel prepared, supported, and excited when the doors officially open. The Opportunity As a Lead Teacher, you'll create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can learn, explore, build relationships, and thrive.

You will:

Lead daily classroom activities and instruction Create developmentally appropriate learning experiences Build meaningful relationships with children and families Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Follow classroom schedules and academy policies Support children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development Communicate professionally with families and team members Maintain compliance with Florida childcare licensing requirements Participate in academy events, trainings, and professional development Work collaboratively with the leadership team and fellow educators We are looking for educators who bring energy, reliability, creativity, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children.
