Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning in children during their crucial early years. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or other early childhood education frameworks Support children's social-emotional development through positive behavior management and encouragement Help facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math skills, and overall cognitive growth Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and developmental progress Assist with classroom routines including snack time, nap time, and transitions between activities Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood development principles and childhood education techniques such as Montessori or other curricula Strong classroom management skills and the ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs such as autism is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage positively with children and families Ability to plan and execute engaging lesson plans focused on literacy education, math, and overall curriculum development Certification or coursework in early childhood education or special education is advantageous Passion for working with children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment Join us to inspire young minds!
