Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Morning Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire a love of learning in our preschoolers while ensuring their safety and well-being during morning hours. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to foster holistic child development. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among preschoolers. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development. Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to tailor instruction to individual needs. Lead engaging lessons that incorporate early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support or special education services. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certification. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and child welfare practices. Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention techniques, and literacy education strategies for young learners. Familiarity with Montessori methods, standardized testing procedures, and physical education activities tailored for preschoolers. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administration. Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education are preferred. Ability to work mornings consistently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the day.
