Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young adults, providing guidance and support in various settings. This role involves creating a safe and engaging environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The Counselor will be responsible for educating students, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering positive relationships that encourage personal growth.
- Responsibilities
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Provide sports coaching and physical activities that promote teamwork and physical fitness.
- Offer childcare support during events or activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Utilize knowledge of early childhood education and childhood development to tailor approaches for individual student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and any incidents that occur during counseling sessions or activities.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff members to create a supportive network for students.
- Requirements
- Experience working with students in educational or recreational settings is preferred.
- Strong background in early childhood education or childhood development is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures is a plus; certification is encouraged.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents.
- Ability to manage diverse groups of children with varying needs effectively.
- A positive attitude, patience, and the ability to motivate students are essential qualities for this role.
