Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated early childhood education team as a Lead VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) Instructor! In this vibrant role, you will inspire young learners by implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a nurturing classroom environment, and guiding children through critical developmental milestones. As a leader in early childhood education, you will collaborate with families, support individualized learning strategies, and ensure a joyful, safe space where children can thrive. Your passion for teaching and commitment to child welfare will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and success. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and STEM methods. Lead daily classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, behavioral management, and early intervention strategies tailored to diverse student needs. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers to ensure effective classroom management and lesson delivery. Assess student progress through observations, standardized testing, and formative assessments; adapt instruction accordingly. Foster strong communication with parents and guardians by providing regular updates on child development and educational milestones. Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization in accordance with childcare regulations. Requirements Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and early intervention practices. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and inclusive teaching practices for diverse learners.
