  • 5:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_176067 We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to primarily help build our high-performance unmanned surface vessel (USV) designed for multi-domain maritime missions requiring speed, endurance, and autonomy.
We provide all necessary power tools. Technicians must have their own hand tools. We expect each technician to have very high attention to detail with a zero defects mentality. Our products are unmanned and as such the level of reliability must be the highest priority FOR all involved in delivering our products to customers. Responsibilities:
Candidate must be determined and motivated to help company succeed in any endeavor presented. Responsible for the assembly of all mechanical and electrical components into USV???s Assist in the development and maintenance of assembly work instructions used on the production floor. Inventory, validate, install and test all components required for assembly and delivery of USV???s Test and confirm installed components are built to standards and operating within limits. Provide daily progress updates to Production and Project Managers. Collaboratively work with Systems, Engineering and Production teams to identify issues and assist with product assembly and development. Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner.

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • -Quality control or quality assurance experience.
  • -Able to follow build sheets and engineered processes
  • -Small boat operations.
  • -ABYC Training or certification.
  • -Soldering and harness assembly
  • -Marine engine factory training or certification
  • -Current CDL License
  • -Past experience in marine rigging, mechanical, and/ or electrical is a plus.
Education:
High School Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Able to work with small hardware in confined spaces. Relevant tech school, degree, or minimum of 3 years experience in related manufacturing or technical product assembly. Ability to review and interpret technical documentation such as maintenance manuals, checklists, and blueprints and wiring schematics. Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanical hardware. Use and maintenance of hand, power and air tools. Basic boat familiarity. Candidate must be familiar with the Microsoft office suite. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Candidate must be able to function individually for long periods of time as well as be an integral member of a team supporting a complex and dynamic organization. Comfortable documenting issues and escalation of any items that create a work stoppage. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP and clean background is required. Ability to obtain a Security Clearance. Ability to work with integrated teams comprised of military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION
  • They have 2 facilities, one is the Head Quarters and Production facility and the second is another Production facility which is a short drive away, must be able to drive to both.
