Our Toddler Teachers play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where young children can learn, grow, and build independence. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys working as part of a supportive team. Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages approximately 1-3 years. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Follow our curriculum and classroom routines while encouraging hands-on learning and exploration. Maintain active supervision of all children at all times. Assist with diapering, potty training, meals, naps, and other daily care routines. Build positive relationships and communicate professionally with children, families, and coworkers. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment. Complete daily documentation and observations as required. Follow all state licensing requirements, health and safety procedures, and center policies. Work collaboratively with other teachers and members of the management team. Qualifications Previous experience working with toddlers or in a licensed childcare setting is preferred. Must have a genuine love for working with young children. Ability to provide active supervision and maintain a safe classroom environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, dependable, and professional. Must be able to meet all applicable DCF and background screening requirements. Early childhood education credentials or training are a plus, but we are willing to support the right candidate in completing required training.
