Competitive salary Training & development Brighter Days Academy is currently seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Part-Time VPK Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Miami Gardens, Florida. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping young children learn and grow in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate VPK lessons and activities aligned with Florida Early Learning Standards. Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Maintain a safe and organized classroom. Monitor and document children's progress and developmental milestones. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques. Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, safety, and VPK program requirements. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall success of the program. Qualifications & Requirements Current CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential or FCCPC (Florida Child Care Professional Credential) is required. Completion of all required VPK training/classes is required. Previous experience teaching preschool-aged children preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Must pass all required background screening and state requirements.
