Job Description

PrideStaff is seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the Quality Control Manager position for a growing manufacturer in the South Florida area. In this role, you will lead quality operations across manufacturing, packaging, and facility processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining cGMP and food safety standards, driving continuous process improvement, and leading daily quality functions.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Operations:
Direct, train, and mentor QC technicians, supervisors, and administrative quality staff. Enforce cGMP, HACCP, and internal quality programs across all production shifts and conduct routine facility sanitation audits. Hold full authority to pause production lines or place product on "Quality Hold" if food safety, sanitation, or quality risks are identified. Lead investigations for product deviations, out-of-specification lab results, non-conformance reports, and customer complaints. Review and approve batch production records, update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), draft packaging specifications, and issue Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for batch release.
Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years of quality control or quality assurance experience within dietary supplement, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Proven supervisory or managerial experience leading technical and quality teams. Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience. Strong working knowledge of cGMP regulations, HACCP principles, batch record review, and quality management systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus for this role. Excellent technical writing skills, reading comprehension, and problem-solving abilities. PrideStaff is an equal opportunity employer.

Rate (Up to): $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 Per Year
