Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on early childhood development and infant milestones Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages exploration, socialization, and emotional security Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and daily activities Maintain accurate records of each infant's development, routines, and health information in compliance with mandated reporting laws Follow all health and safety protocols including pediatric first aid, CPR, and sanitation procedures Collaborate with team members to create individualized care plans for infants with special needs or disabilities Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques while promoting good habits and routines Skills DCF 45 hours Proven experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development stages specific to infants and toddlers Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible environment Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to handle child supervision responsibly while demonstrating patience and compassion Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Experience in behavior management techniques suitable for young children Background in early childhood education or childcare certification preferred Join us in shaping the earliest moments of a child's life by providing exceptional care that promotes growth, learning, and happiness.
