About Us Bright Futures Early Learning Center provides high‑quality childcare and early learning programs for children ages six weeks to 11 years old. Our mission is to improve kindergarten readiness in our community by partnering with families to build strong foundations for lifelong learning.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that are age-appropriate and support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Plan and facilitate engaging activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and independence. Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment with appropriate arrangement of materials and supplies. Support children through daily routines, transitions, and caregiving needs (meals, rest, toileting). Observe and document children's developmental progress, sharing insights with families and program staff. Establish positive relationships with children and families, fostering trust and collaboration. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in curriculum and classroom practices.

Qualifications:

Level 2 Background Screening required Division of Early Learning Pre-Service trainings required Must meet DCF Child Care Facility Training Requirements within 1 year of employment (Training info: https://www.myflfamilies.com/childcaretraining/child-care-facility-training-requirements) Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and occasional running Strong communication skills and a commitment to high‑quality early learning

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting
