• 6:00 PM Preschool License #: 50370 Life Learning Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team.

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with babies and understands the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, clean, and structured infant classroom. Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care to infants Follow individual feeding, diapering, and sleeping schedules Prepare bottles and assist with feedings Maintain accurate feeding, diapering, and nap records Follow safe sleep and infant safety practices Plan simple, age-appropriate activities including tummy time, sensory play, music, movement, and early language experiences Support developmental milestones and individual needs Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized classroom Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers Work closely with co-teachers and administration Follow all school, DCF, health, and safety requirements Assist in other classrooms and provide coverage for teachers as needed to maintain required teacher-to-child ratios and support the daily needs of the school Be flexible and willing to assist in additional areas when necessary Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required At least 2 years of childcare experience preferred Infant classroom experience strongly preferred 45 DCF Child Care Training Hours completed and finalized required CDA or equivalent credential strongly preferred Knowledge of infant care, feeding, diapering, safe sleep, and developmental milestones Dependable, patient, nurturing, organized, and attentive Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to be flexible and assist in different classrooms when needed Proficient in English Spanish and/or Creole is a plus Benefits & Perks Paid holidays Annual pay increments Professional development opportunities Weekly lunch or breakfast often provided for staff Employee appreciation gifts and special recognition Staff holiday parties and celebrations Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional growth Rewarding work making a difference in the lives of young children We are looking for someone who is reliable, loving, patient, flexible, and passionate about infant care .
