In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers, fostering their curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape a positive early childhood experience that promotes growth, independence, and joy in learning. Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers. Foster a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity. Monitor and support individual developmental milestones, tailoring activities to meet each child's needs. Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions smoothly. • Requirements Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting children or equipment safely.
