The Toddler Teacher is responsible for the care, supervision, and management of a class of toddlers in accord with the goals and curriculum plan of the preschool. Our ideal candidate will be a loving and caring nurturer with experience working with young children and have a passion and dedication to the field of early childhood education. She must inspire creativity in the classroom environment, be a warm and loving caregiver, as well as a responsible educational leader.

Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:00 am

• 3:00 pm, with 1-2 afternoons per week scheduled to assist with Extended Care Educator in this position will: Provide quality, nurturing care to toddlers enrolled in the program Ensure the safety and well-being of the children Communicate effectively with toddlers, their parents, and other staff Have knowledge of Early Childhood Development practices Implement weekly schedules and a creative curriculum Engage in hands on activities that introduce new experiences to toddlers and promote early learning Specifically guide toddlers to learn language, gain autonomy, interact socially, and enjoy physical activity Create weekly lesson plans that implement social and emotional activities for each individual child Provide a stimulating environment for the development of your students' needs Establish a positive and productive relationship with your students' parents Maintain direct supervision of all children in care at all times Have the ability to work as a team player Have a positive attitude and be passionate about supporting and inspiring students

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 2-3

years of job-related experience

• preferred Degree or professional work in education; or equivalent experience
• required Significant knowledge of early childhood development and experience working with children ages birth to 5 years and their families
• preferred Experience in a school or educational setting
• preferred Successful completion of required background check Certification from the
