Job Overview We are seeking to fill a lead teacher position in our 2.5/3's classroom. The position is full-time Monday-Friday and will require a level 2 background screening upon hire. The ideal candidate would have a passion for working with young children, prior experience in early education and have completed the required DCF training hours. . Responsibilities Implement curriculum tailored to the developmental stages of 2.5-3-year-old children. Create a safe, fun, and stimulating classroom environment for children to learn and grow. Lead daily classroom activities, including circle time, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and early intervention strategies to foster growth in all developmental domains. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior management. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws. .Skills Classroom management skills that foster a positive learning environment while ensuring safety and engagement. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; plus 10-hour annual in-service training Experience in early education environments is preferred; familiarity with mandated reporting laws. Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
