Preschool Teacher
  • Two•and Three-Year-Old Classroom Generation Academy of Florida, Formerly Known as First Assembly Christian School|Ocala, Florida We are seeking a loving, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team and work with our two•and three-year-old children .
Our preschool is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, spiritually, and academically. We partner with the Florida Early Learning Coalition and are accredited by the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS) . Qualifications A genuine love for God, children, and a heart for serving families Previous experience working with toddlers and/or preschool-aged children Ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Patient, dependable, and responsible Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, administration, and families Willingness to support and incorporate Christian values and Biblical principles into the classroom Must meet applicable Florida childcare employment and background-screening requirements Preferred Current FCCPC and/or Degree in Early Childhood Education Knowledge of and experience with Beyond Cribs and Rattles/Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold helpful Current First Aid/CPR certification Responsibilities Provide loving and attentive care for children ages two and three Plan and participate in age-appropriate learning activities and experiences Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Communicate professionally with parents and fellow staff members Follow preschool policies, safety procedures, and Florida childcare requirements Encourage children's development through play, exploration, and hands-on learning Help children learn Biblical principles through age-appropriate lessons, prayer, songs, and daily activities If you love working with young children and desire to make a positive difference in their lives, we would love to hear from you!
