Music Teacher - Early Childhood Nieves Music Studio — Ocala, FL Starting at $25/hour | Part-time | In person Higher starting pay may be available based on experience and qualifications. Nieves Music Studio is hiring a part-time Music Teacher to teach: Music & Movement (Ages 1-4): Singing, movement, rhythm, drums, rhythm sticks, percussion, and interactive music activities Intro to Music (Ages 3-6): Foundational music instruction introducing students to music notation, rhythm, basic music theory, and music-making through hands-on activities and group playing Additional music classes for older students, when applicable We're looking for a confident, energetic teacher who connects naturally with both young children and parents, can lead active groups, and has the musicianship needed to teach real musical skills. Qualifications Strong musicianship and formal music training or equivalent experience Proficiency on at least one instrument Comfortable singing and leading musical activities Able to teach foundational rhythm, music reading, and music theory in an age-appropriate way Experience teaching or leading children Energetic, expressive, and naturally engaging with young children, with the confidence to lead a room and create a positive, structured class environmen Early childhood music teaching experience is strongly preferred. Candidates without it should have strong musicianship and substantial experience teaching children.
