About us The Children's Academy on the Halifax is a small business in Ormond Beach, FL. Our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for children 6 weeks - 5 years of age. Our curriculum ensures that we are developing the whole child. We are dedicated to each child's academic, social, emotional, and physical growth. We will provide enrichment activities such as music, library time, art, and movement. These activities will be designed to enhance our curriculum and will be developmentally appropriate for each child's individual needs. . We are looking for an experienced and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in early childhood education, a passion for teaching young children, and the ability to create a safe and nurturing learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating lesson plans, supervising activities, and providing guidance to children as they explore the world around them.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate activities to engage children in learning. Create a safe and nurturing environment for children. Assist with the development of children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Encourage positive behavior and provide guidance to children when needed. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other professionals. Work collaboratively with other teachers to create a cohesive learning environment.
