Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate, adjusting lesson plans to meet individual needs. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development, milestones, and any concerns to ensure collaborative support. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, meal times, nap times, and activities to maintain a structured learning environment. Incorporate early intervention strategies and special education techniques to support children with diverse learning needs or developmental delays. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards at all times. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and incident documentation while fostering a safe space for children's emotional well-being. Requirements Prior experience teaching young children in preschool or daycare settings with classroom management expertise. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention methods. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Pay:
