What You'll Do As a substitute teacher, you'll step into daycare classrooms for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-agers to support full-time staff, help maintain ratios, and keep the day running smoothly. You'll gain experience across different daycare centers and age groups while building relationships in the local childcare community.
