This is a new childcare facility located in Panama City , Florida on Cato Rd. BAYCOLA provides care to children ages 0-5 years with the latest technology, safety systems, and research-based.curriculum. Your strategic vision and management expertise will ensure the center runs smoothly, complies with all regulations, and continuously improves to meet the diverse needs of families and community partners. Lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate curricula that support children's developmental milestones and learning goals. Manage daily center operations, including staffing schedules, enrollment processes, and compliance with licensing standards. Supervise teaching staff by providing mentorship, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting professional growth initiatives. Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring financial sustainability while allocating resources effectively to enhance program quality. Drive strategic planning efforts to expand program offerings, increase community engagement, and secure funding through fundraising activities. Foster a positive, inclusive environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous improvement among staff. Represent the center at community events, facilitate public speaking engagements, and build strong relationships with families and local organizations. Ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to childcare services. Assist in classroom when needed. Understand all center operations with the ability to cover all positions. Must be able to open or close the facility daily. Reports directly to the Director and the leadership team members to which they are assigned. One of the following credentials preferred: 1. Staff Credentials 2. Florida Childcare Director's License 3. A degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education and a minimum of two years of experience working in a childcare setting in a lead position. Proven experience in education administration or management within a childcare or early childhood education setting. Demonstrated success in curriculum development tailored to young children's developmental needs. Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management. Extensive supervising experience with teaching staff or educational teams. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Effective public speaking skills for engaging with families, community partners, and stakeholders. Classroom teaching experience working directly with children is highly desirable to inform program oversight.
