Overview We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable candidate to care for and teach children ages 1-2 years old. Hours are 1:30PM - 6:00PM Duties Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills among preschool-aged children. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining a structured yet flexible schedule. Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation among students. Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently by maintaining child welfare standards and adhering to mandated reporting laws when necessary. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued. DCF mandatory 45hrs training is a plus Must be able to pass a background check

Pay:

$15.50 - $16.00 per hour
