Minimum Qualifications Required:

Florida Early Childhood 45-Hour Child Care Training (must be completed prior to employment)

High School Diploma or GED Preferred:

Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Associate's Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education or a related field Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) DCF Background Screening and eligibility to work in a licensed childcare facility Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards. Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning through exploration and play. Foster children's cognitive, language, physical, social-emotional, and spiritual development. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in accordance with DCF licensing regulations. Observe, assess, and document each child's developmental progress. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities. Integrate Christian values, character education, and age-appropriate Bible lessons into daily instruction. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities while ensuring their safety at all times. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience teaching preschool-aged children preferred. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Knowledge of Florida licensing regulations and classroom health and safety procedures. Excellent classroom management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Patient, compassionate, dependable, and professional. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic about early childhood education. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced educational environment.
