KinderCare is seeking a Specialized Pre K Lead Teacher for our Coconut Creek center. In this role, you'll design and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate Pre-K curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten. You will create a nurturing, inclusive classroom, guide assistant teachers, and closely monitor each child's growth through observation and assessments. Partner with families through regular communication, ensure a safe and stimulating environment, and collaborate with center leadership to continuously improve program quality and support KinderCare's mission of enriching early childhood education. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate Pre-K curriculum aligned with learning standards. Lead daily classroom activities to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Assess children's progress and maintain accurate documentation and portfolios. Communicate regularly with families about child development, progress, and classroom events. Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment that meets licensing requirements. Guide and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in the classroom. Adapt instruction for diverse learning needs and individualized education plans where applicable. Collaborate with center leadership on program quality, events, and continuous improvement.
