Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical activity tailored to toddler development stages Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play Manage daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and consistency Utilize behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and address challenges effectively Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address individual needs or concerns Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to support children with diverse learning needs Maintain accurate records of children's developmental progress, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers and preschoolers Experience in curriculum development focused on early literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods is highly desirable Proven classroom management skills to foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing preparation where appropriate while emphasizing holistic growth Hands-on experience working with children in daycare settings or private schools is preferred Familiarity with behavior management techniques and child welfare practices to ensure a safe and nurturing space for all children Join us in shaping young minds through dynamic teaching practices that celebrate curiosity and foster lifelong learning!
