Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic Aftercare Staff Member to provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children after the regular school day. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is responsible and patient, and can help create a fun and structured after-school experience. Responsibilities Supervise children during the aftercare program and ensure their safety at all times. Maintain a positive, respectful, and welcoming environment. Assist with homework, reading, and other age-appropriate educational activities. Plan and participate in games, arts and crafts, recreational activities, and group activities. Help children follow daily routines, classroom rules, and program expectations. Monitor attendance and ensure children are released only to authorized adults. Assist with snack time, cleanup, and maintaining an organized environment. Communicate appropriately with parents and guardians regarding their child's participation and daily activities. Work cooperatively with other staff members and follow all school/program policies and procedures. Report any safety concerns, injuries, behavioral concerns, or other incidents to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe environment for children. Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
