Ladybird Academy of St. Johns is hiring an Assistant Director! Our locations offer excellent opportunities for training and advancement. Apply today! The Assistant Director will support and assist the Director with planning, directing, and coordinating all phases of operations, complying with regulating government agencies and Ladybird Academy's policies and procedures. Ladybird Academy creates enriching early education and quality childcare experiences for children ages six weeks through Pre-K, in addition to our After School Care Program. Ladybird Academy is seeking professional, experienced Assistant Director who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children every day. At Ladybird Academy, we pride ourselves on being a leader in developing children's minds and providing the best environment for children to learn and grow. Qualifications Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or higher level of education Original and current Director's Credential First Aid/CPR certification If previously worked in childcare, state-mandated annual in-service training hours must be up-to-date No pending or past arrest record Reliable transportation Willing to be assigned to alternate locations from time-to-time Work Environment Must be able to adapt to a continuously changing, fast-paced environment and make the children's needs the primary focus. Must be an educator. Ladybird Academy is an educational facility and prides itself on teaching and educating children preparing them for the next stage in their lives. Must be able to fully engage in physical activity including lifting up to 50lbs. Must be able to kneel, squat, stoop, crawl, lift, push, and pull. Must be able to engage in activities including but limited to jumping, dancing, running, walking, hopping, and skipping. •Qualifications must be satisfied upon the first date of employment.
