Overview We are seeking a warm, dependable, and faith-driven Lead Teacher to join our Christian preschool team. This position may be placed in our Two-Year-Old classroom and/or our Three-Year-Old classroom, depending on program needs. The ideal candidate will nurture each child's spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth while delivering our faith-based curriculum with love and consistency. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom environment where young children can learn and thrive. Duties Planning and delivering daily lessons using our provided faith-based curriculum Leading circle time, Bible stories, prayer, and worship activities appropriate for the age group Managing classroom behavior in a positive, gentle, and Christ-like manner Keeping the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming at all times Sweeping and mopping the classroom floor daily as part of routine classroom upkeep Maintaining accurate attendance, incident, and developmental records Communicating regularly and warmly with parents about their child's progress Ensuring all health, safety, and licensing standards are met Collaborating with co-teachers and assistants to maintain a consistent classroom routine Support children's individual needs by integrating special education strategies and early intervention techniques when necessary. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Foster open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's development, milestones, and classroom experiences. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to all health and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development focused on childhood development, childcare best practices, and innovative teaching methodologies. Assist in classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, outdoor play, and meal times. Engage in classroom documentation including progress reports, incident reports, and lesson plans for regulatory compliance. Support the integration of physical education and tutoring sessions to enhance holistic child development. Skills Extensive experience in early childhood education with a focus on preschool settings; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued. Strong curriculum development skills across multiple domains such as literacy education, math instruction, and physical activity programs. Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere through classroom management techniques. Knowledge of special education needs and experience implementing individualized strategies for children requiring additional support. Expertise in early intervention practices to support children with developmental delays or learning challenges. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and external specialists to support child welfare. Experience working with standardized testing tools to assess developmental progress accurately. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori principles or other educational frameworks suited for preschool learners. Familiarity with behavior management strategies that promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation among young children. Competence in teaching physical education activities that encourage motor skill development and overall health. Prior experience in daycare or private school environments is preferred; knowledge of childhood development theories is essential. Years Childcare Experience Reliability:

Must be dependable, punctual, and consistent in attendance
