Job Summary The Preschool Assistant Director has a wide range of responsibilities that balance administration, leadership, compliance, and relationship-building. The role requires balancing business management with educational leadership to create a thriving preschool environment. The Preschool Assistant Director is responsible for supporting the director with the daily operations, staff management and compliance of the preschool. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure a safe, nurturing, and high-quality educational environment for children, staff, and families. Required Skills and Experience Must possess: Early Childhood Education Experience DCF 45-Hour Childcare Course CPR and First Aid Certification Office Experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills and Experience Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Staff Credential Directors Credential Certification Associates Degree and/or Bachelors Degree in Education Benefits Company Paid Holidays Paid Vacation up to 2 weeks (not allowed to take consecutive) Paid Personal Days 401(k) matching up to 3% 50% off Tuition Discount for up to two children Birthday Off or Time and a half if worked
