Job Description

Job Summary Liberty Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Preschool Assistant Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment for preschool students. The ideal candidate will foster a love of learning by encouraging academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth through engaging, hands-on instruction and play-based learning experiences. Responsibilities Implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the school's preschool curriculum. Create a warm, welcoming, and Christ-centered classroom environment. Teach foundational skills in early literacy, math, science, social studies, and Bible. Encourage positive social interactions, independence, and age-appropriate behavior. Communicate with parents. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom. Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other assigned duties. Build positive relationships with students, families, and coworkers. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. Follow all licensing, health, and safety requirements. Qualifications Previous experience teaching preschool or early childhood students is preferred. Must have or willing to obtain the 45 DCF hours. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for working with young children and fostering a positive learning environment. Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families. Personal commitment to the mission and values of Christian education. Ability to integrate biblical principles into daily instruction. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
