Key Responsibilities Music & Dance Instruction Plan and lead engaging music and movement classes for infants through Pre-K. Introduce children to rhythm, beat, tempo, singing, instruments, creative movement, and dance fundamentals. Create age-appropriate lessons that encourage imagination, creativity, and self-expression. Incorporate seasonal themes, cultural celebrations, and special performances throughout the year. Classroom Collaboration Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate music and movement into classroom learning. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and faculty. Support school-wide events, family engagement activities, and special celebrations. Classroom Environment Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels successful. Maintain music equipment, instruments, and classroom materials. Follow all health, safety, licensing, and supervision standards. Qualifications Experience teaching music, dance, movement, or performing arts to young children preferred Degree or coursework in Music Education, Dance Education, Early Childhood Education, Performing Arts, or a related field preferred CDA or Early Childhood experience is a plus Ability to sing comfortably with children and lead movement activities Comfortable teaching multiple age groups from infants through Pre-K Excellent communication and classroom management skills Reliable transportation to travel between our Winter Garden and Horizon West locations Must successfully complete all state-required background screening and pre-service training If you're an energetic, nurturing person looking for a supportive and fun workplace, join us!
