Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teachers specialized in early childhood education to inspire and nurture young learners in their foundational years. As a Preschool Teacher for preschoolers, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and early literacy skills. Your role is vital in fostering a love of learning while supporting each child's individual growth and development. You will collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere where children can thrive academically and socially. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate early literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive interactions among children. Conduct ongoing assessments of each child's developmental progress using standardized testing methods and observational techniques. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and self-regulation. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns regarding development or welfare. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and incident reports in accordance with licensing requirements. Skills Extensive experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Proficiency in curriculum development tailored to preschool learners' needs. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively through classroom management techniques. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues clearly and empathetically. Familiarity with special education practices and integrating inclusive learning strategies. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification to ensure safety during emergencies. Experience teaching physical education activities that promote gross motor skills development. Understanding of childhood welfare laws, mandated reporting requirements, and child protection policies. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and social-emotional learning components.
