Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certifications, to maintain a secure environment for children. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements focused on literacy education, early intervention strategies, and childhood development milestones. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including toddler care and preschool teaching. Strong knowledge of child development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in childhood education is highly valued. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and standardized testing preparation when appropriate.
