Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and adapt instruction accordingly, ensuring each child's individual needs are met. Engage in active communication with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster strong home-school connections. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, activity organization, and transition management to maximize learning time. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records related to child welfare, health, and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certifications. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development projects, participate in ongoing professional development related to early intervention, special education, and childhood development best practices. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including child development instruction and behavior management techniques. Experience designing curriculum that incorporates literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within an educational setting. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or special education are advantageous.
