Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, guiding students in their learning journey, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's growth and development. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the educational needs of children. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Assess student progress through various methods, including standardized testing, to tailor instruction accordingly. Provide guidance and support to students in areas such as literacy education, math, physical education, and child welfare. Collaborate with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns related to their child's development. Supervise classroom activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Mentor and support assistant teachers or interns in their professional development. Skills Strong knowledge of childcare principles and early childhood education practices. Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Familiarity with child welfare regulations and best practices. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical activities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. Patience, creativity, and adaptability in addressing the varying needs of young learners.
