Job Summary We are seeking a teacher to work in the two year old classroom. DCF completed 45 hours is required. Duties Implement the Reading Corner curriculum on a daily basis. Maintain accurate student attendance records and documentation in Brightwheel application. Assess student progress and provide feedback to families about academic progress. Create an inclusive classroom environment for all students and promote academic growth. Implement appropriate behavior management techniques. Collaborate with directors, other staff members, and families to build relationships in order to foster a positive school experience. Participate in frequent professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education. Assist with daily cleaning of facility in order to ensure classrooms are sanitized each day. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Previous experience working in a preschool setting us preferred, but not required. Ability to effectively manage a classroom and use behavior management techniques. Understanding of implementing curriculum in a classroom setting. High energy teacher who creates an environment where students love to learn.
