First Discovery Children's Academy is opening in the Kennesaw area, and we're looking for an experienced Lead Toddler / Twos Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a difference every day. We're seeking a dependable, engaging educator who already has the required Georgia training completed and has experience working in a Quality Rated childcare program. If you love creating meaningful learning experiences, building strong relationships with families, and helping toddlers discover the world around them, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do As our Lead Toddler / Twos Teacher, you will: Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities. Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Build positive relationships with families through daily communication. Maintain classroom organization and licensing compliance. Lead your classroom with confidence while supporting assistant teachers. Collaborate with a supportive leadership team committed to excellence. Required Qualifications To be considered, applicants must have: At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center. Experience in a Georgia Quality Rated early learning program. All required Georgia Health & Safety training already completed. Knowledge of Bright from the Start licensing regulations. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Preferred Qualifications Current CPR & First Aid Certification. CDA, TCC, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience leading a Toddler or Twos classroom. Why Join First Discovery?
