Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Twos Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead a classroom of energetic toddlers, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and development. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners and support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical milestones, including language development, self-help skills, and emerging independence. As a Lead Twos Teacher, you will help guide children through important developmental transitions, such as potty training, while partnering with families to ensure consistency and support each child's individual progress. You will collaborate with families and staff to create an engaging, safe, and inclusive space where children thrive. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to the needs of toddlers aged two to three years old. Foster a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction. Monitor each child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to inform personalized learning strategies. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety standards at all times. Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress, activities, and any concerns or observations. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to plan classroom activities that support early childhood development goals. Support children through the potty-training process using developmentally appropriate practices, positive reinforcement, and consistent routines while partnering with families to encourage success at home and at school. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, and transitions with patience and professionalism. Incorporate best practices in early childhood education, including knowledge of childhood development theories and behavior management techniques. Requirements Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and age-specific teaching strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to nurture positive behavior through effective caregiving techniques. Demonstrated experience supporting children through the potty-training process, including partnering with families, implementing consistent toileting routines, and encouraging independence in a positive and developmentally appropriate manner. Experience with childcare routines such as diapering, feeding, potty training, and toddler care activities. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and other staff members effectively.
