Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and caring Preschool Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team! As a Preschool Floater, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and enriching experience for young learners by providing flexible classroom support across various preschool settings. Your energetic approach and compassionate nature will help foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while making a positive impact on children's early development. Duties Provide coverage and support in multiple preschool classrooms, assisting lead teachers with daily activities and routines Supervise children during play, learning, meal times, nap times, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and curiosity Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Assist with classroom management to foster positive behavior and respectful interactions among children Support teachers with classroom organization, materials preparation, and cleaning duties to ensure a tidy learning environment Experience Prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety regulations Classroom management skills that promote positive behavior and effective supervision Child supervision experience in daycare or babysitting roles demonstrating responsibility and attentiveness Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or similar health and safety training is required or highly desirable Join us as a Preschool Floater to inspire young minds through energetic support and compassionate care!
