Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher (3's) to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead a dynamic classroom dedicated to nurturing the developmental, emotional, and social growth of children aged three years old. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education, combined with your expertise in curriculum development and classroom management, will inspire young learners and support their journey toward independence and curiosity. As a key leader in our community, you will foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can thrive through play, exploration, and structured learning experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula tailored to toddler age groups, incorporating literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that promote active learning, creativity, and positive behavior management strategies to support each child's individual needs. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by adhering to childcare standards, health regulations, and mandated reporting laws. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's development. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality early childhood education. Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and child development instruction techniques. Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a warm atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, specifically with toddlers or preschool-aged students. Strong knowledge of child development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Demonstrated ability in curriculum development with a focus on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and early intervention practices. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional training in special education or childhood welfare is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols. Experience teaching physical education or implementing standardized testing is advantageous.
