Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire early childhood development, helping children build foundational skills in literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and physical activity. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating early intervention strategies and child development best practices Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management techniques Conduct age-appropriate lessons focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional growth Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong home-school connections Monitor child welfare by adhering to mandated reporting laws and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Utilize classroom experience and child care expertise to support individual learning needs, including special education accommodations when necessary Maintain detailed records of child progress, assessments, and standardized testing results to track developmental milestones Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and lesson planning techniques Experience with behavior management strategies and classroom management skills Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare laws is preferred Ability to work with diverse student populations including toddlers and children requiring additional support such as those in preschool teaching or physical education programs Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety is essential Demonstrated commitment to early childhood education principles and standards Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
