Full-Time About Intentionally Great Learning Center Intentionally Great Learning Center is a Christ-centered private school serving students in PreK3 through 5th grade. We believe children thrive when they are known, loved, challenged, and supported as individuals. Through small class sizes, individualized learning, hands-on experiences, and a strong foundation in Christ, we are committed to developing our scholars academically, socially, and spiritually. As IGLC continues to grow and prepares for expansion to a second location, we are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director to join our administrative leadership team. Position Overview The Assistant Director will report directly to the Head of School and play an important role in the daily operations, compliance, and continued growth of IGLC. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, dependable, proactive, and compassionate, with the ability to balance administrative responsibilities while remaining connected to students, families, and staff. Because our PreK program operates under Georgia childcare regulations, the Assistant Director will take primary responsibility for the school's DECAL/Bright from the Start compliance and administrative requirements . This individual will also oversee our CACFP program, student accounts, and daily After School Program . We are looking for more than someone who can complete administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities DECAL / Bright from the Start Oversee day-to-day DECAL/Bright from the Start compliance for applicable programs. Maintain required student, staff, licensing, training, and compliance documentation. Ensure required records remain current, organized, and inspection-ready. Assist with licensing visits, inspections, corrective actions, and ongoing regulatory requirements. Stay informed of applicable DECAL regulations and communicate requirements to leadership and staff. Help ensure classroom ratios, supervision, health and safety procedures, and other licensing requirements are consistently followed. CACFP Management Manage the school's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Maintain accurate meal counts, attendance records, menus, documentation, and required program records. Monitor staff compliance with CACFP procedures. Coordinate required training and ensure records are prepared for reviews and audits. Assist with reimbursement documentation and program reporting. Student Accounts & Family Support Monitor student accounts, tuition balances, fees, and payments. Assist families with account-related questions in a professional and compassionate manner. Communicate regarding balances, payment deadlines, and account discrepancies. Maintain accurate financial records and work closely with school leadership regarding outstanding accounts. Help ensure student account information remains organized and current. After School Program Provide daily administrative oversight of IGLC's After School Program from 3:45 PM-5:15 PM . Ensure proper student supervision, staffing, attendance, and dismissal procedures. Support after-school staff and help maintain an engaging, safe, structured, and Christ-centered environment. Communicate with parents regarding after-school needs when necessary. Ensure applicable DECAL requirements continue to be followed during after-school hours. Administrative Leadership & School Operations Support the Head of School with daily school operations. Serve as a dependable member of the administrative leadership team. Build positive relationships with students, parents, teachers, and staff. Help identify operational needs and create systems that improve efficiency and accountability. Step in and assist where needed to ensure the school operates smoothly. Support IGLC's continued growth and preparation for expansion to a second location. Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism. Is excited about helping a growing school strengthen its systems and expand its impact. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in childcare, private school, preschool, or educational administration. Knowledge of Georgia DECAL/Bright from the Start regulations strongly preferred. Previous CACFP experience strongly preferred. Experience with student accounts, tuition management, billing, or administrative financial records preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience. Strong computer, documentation, organization, and communication skills. Ability to meet all required background check, training, and regulatory requirements. Schedule Monday-Friday | 9:15 AM-5:15 PM This is an in-person position and requires consistent attendance and reliability. Why Join IGLC? Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
