Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to maintain a safe environment for all children. Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or toddler care. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure compliance and safety. Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, or math is highly desirable. Ability to adapt lesson plans for students with special needs or those requiring early intervention services.
