Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a nurturing, dependable, and energetic Infant Teacher to join our team. This position is responsible for providing a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants, while supporting their physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and passionate about early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, responsive care to infants (feeding, diapering, soothing, and supervision) Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Follow daily schedules, including feeding, sleeping, and activity routines Implement age-appropriate activities that promote early development Maintain accurate records, including feeding, diapering, and daily reports Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day and development Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and center policies Work collaboratively with other staff and management
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred Knowledge of child development and infant care practices Must meet state licensing requirements (Bright from the Start) CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within required timeframe) Ability to lift, carry, and care for infants throughout the day Strong communication and teamwork skills
