Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will inspire young learners during their formative years by creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. Your leadership will ensure that each child receives personalized attention, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the early learning experiences of toddlers while collaborating closely with families and colleagues to promote a positive educational atmosphere. Duties Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans tailored to two-year-old's that incorporate early literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, exploration, and active engagement among toddlers. Manage classroom routines to ensure a safe, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's milestones, behavior, and overall well-being through conferences and written updates. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, behavior management strategies, and inclusive practices such as special education and early intervention support. Skills Extensive experience working with young children in preschool or toddler care settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Must have a CDA, TCC, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related field. Proficiency in curriculum development focused on childhood development instruction, literacy education, math concepts, and physical education for toddlers. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior. Familiarity with early childhood education standards, childhood development theories, and mandated reporting laws. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Ability to adapt lesson plans for children with special needs or requiring early intervention services. Certification in first aid and CPR is required along with Fire Safety.
