Responsibilities Assist in creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for children in preschool and daycare settings Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and other daily routines to ensure safety and well-being Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized environment that encourages learning and exploration Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships Follow all mandated reporting laws and health and safety protocols, including first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid procedures Collaborate with lead teachers to observe developmental milestones and tailor activities to meet individual needs, including those of children with disabilities or special education requirements Assist with diapering, feeding, and other childcare responsibilities while maintaining a nurturing attitude that promotes trust and comfort Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare center or preschool environment is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Classroom experience involving behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required or highly valued Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect Babysitting or nanny experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children is beneficial Join us in shaping the future by providing compassionate care and educational support to our youngest learners. $12.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
