Responsibilities Implement daily lesson plans and activities aligned with curriculum standards to foster early childhood development Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to promote a respectful and safe learning environment Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth through engaging instructional strategies Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to develop age-appropriate educational activities that meet individual needs Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom events Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, participation, and developmental milestones in compliance with school policies Utilize educational technologies such as computers and interactive tools to enhance learning experiences Adhere to mandated reporting laws and school policies to ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality standards Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and literacy education Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds, including those with special needs such as autism or requiring special education support Skilled in curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation tailored to preschool learners Excellent classroom management skills to foster an organized, inclusive environment conducive to learning Ability to adapt instructional methods based on individual student needs and classroom dynamics Effective communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues professionally Familiarity with educational technologies, computers, and digital tools used in early childhood classrooms Knowledge of school policies, mandated reporting laws, and best practices in childcare settings Prior preschool experience or private school teaching background is highly desirable Experience working with students requiring additional support or tutoring in areas such as math or literacy Join us as a Substitute Preschool Teacher and help shape the future by inspiring curiosity, fostering growth, and creating joyful learning moments!
