Responsibilities Assist in managing daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards Support classroom management and curriculum implementation to promote child development and learning Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on classroom practices, behavior management, and child supervision Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share updates, address concerns, and foster positive relationships Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation for licensing requirements Coordinate staff schedules, training sessions (including first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid), and professional development opportunities Oversee health and safety protocols, including infant care procedures, toddler care routines, and classroom sanitation practices Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is essential Strong knowledge of childhood development instruction and classroom management techniques Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws are required or must be obtained upon hire Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners Familiarity with behavior management strategies and working with diverse age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Proven leadership skills with experience supervising childcare staff or teaching teams Join us to help shape the future of young learners in a supportive environment where your skills make a difference!
