Job Description
About Us Growing & Glowing Academy is a bilingual, inclusive childcare center dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We proudly serve all families, including children with special needs, and provide all meals daily. We are expanding and looking for dependable, energetic individuals to join our team. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in daily activities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Assist with diapering, potty training, meals, and transitions Follow lesson plans, routines, and classroom schedules Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs Communicate professionally with parents and co-workers Follow all state childcare licensing rules and center policies Work as part of a cooperative classroom team Requirements Must enjoy working with children Reliable and able to follow directions Ability to lift 20-40 lbs and stay active throughout the day Previous childcare experience required CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain) Must pass a background check Comfortable in a bilingual (English/Spanish) environment CDA or TCC highly recommended
