Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Assistant to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will support classroom activities, assist with lesson planning, and foster a nurturing environment for young learners. This role is essential in promoting early childhood development and ensuring a positive, engaging experience for children in our care. Duties Assist in implementing daily lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and overall curriculum development. Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful environment. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Help with classroom organization, including setting up learning materials and maintaining cleanliness. Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or in toddler care programs. Support children's language development through interactive literacy education activities. Collaborate with staff on curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs, including Montessori or other educational approaches. Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's progress and needs. Assist with daily routines such as snack time, nap time, and outdoor play. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school, or similar settings. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and behavior management techniques. Experience with special education, working with children with autism or disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development for preschoolers, including literacy education and math activities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families. Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management skills. Experience working with children who have diverse needs, including toddlers or those requiring Montessori methods. Ability to pass background checks and meet health and safety requirements for working with young children. Pay:

$7.25 - $13.00 per hour
